Whole Food Protein Shake
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- 1/2 cup cranberries
- 1/4 organic lemon with the rind (optional)
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
- 2 raw walnutes
- 2 raw Brazil nutes
- 1/4 avocado
- 1/2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup unsweeten almond or hemp milk
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth. You can also add all ingredients in mason jar and use a handheld immersion blender. Be sure to add enough water so that the smoothie is drinkable
- Note: to activate the enzymes in the seeds and nuts in any smoothie recipe for easier digestion, you can soak them ahead of time. For thirty minutes.
