Whole Food Protein Shake

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 1/4 organic lemon with the rind (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin seeds
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon hemp seeds
  • 2 raw walnutes
  • 2 raw Brazil nutes
  • 1/4 avocado
  • 1/2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/2 cup unsweeten almond or hemp milk
  • 1/2 cup water

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend on high speed until smooth. You can also add all ingredients in mason jar and use a handheld immersion blender. Be sure to add enough water so that the smoothie is drinkable
  2. Note: to activate the enzymes in the seeds and nuts in any smoothie recipe for easier digestion, you can soak them ahead of time. For thirty minutes.
